MI.EXPO FAIRS AND CONGRESSES LTDA, legal entity governed by private law, registered with the CNPJ under no. 47.857.823/0001-00, with headquarters located at Rua Frei Caneca, 91 room 122 – Consolação – São Paulo/SP – CEP 01307-001, manager and administrator of the events owned by it, sole and exclusive owner of the domain and website miexpo.com.br, hereinafter referred to as MI.EXPO FAIR + FORUM establishes this instrument, called WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE miexpo.com.br for USERS, in accordance with the clauses and conditions described below:

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1. Words written in this instrument with capital letters will have the meaning attributed to them in accordance with the provisions below:

MI.EXPO FAIRS AND CONGRESSES LTDA is the legal entity that owns the domain miexpo.com.br and is responsible for managing and carrying out the MI.EXPO FEIRA + FÓRUM event.

EVENT: MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM, events promoted and organized by MI.EXPO FEIRAS E CONGRESSOS LTDA, which can be in person or virtual.

SPONSORED ROOM: name used to identify actions that may or may not be carried out during and within the scope of the EVENT, which may be but is not limited to: courses, lectures, classes, teaching material, bibliography, webinars, graphics and/or presentations, subsidized, in whole or in part , by the SPONSORS, which can be in person or virtual. When the action is sponsored, USERS will be expressly informed prior to accessing the respective content through the “SPONSORED ROOM” disclaimer.

USERS: are the individuals or legal entities that access the SITE, APPLICATION and/or DIGITAL PLATFORM and register to participate in the EVENT organized and held by MI.EXPO FEIRA + FÓRUM.
SITE miexpo.com.br is the internet SITE registered with the competent bodies under the domain miexpo.com.br, with all the resources and tools related to it.

WEBSITE miexpo.com.br: is the internet SITE, whose domain is registered with the competent bodies and which refers to the EVENT, consisting of a platform that can be accessed by USER Buyers, who will be able to view the EVENT exhibitors and their respective products, hereinafter for purposes of this Term simply called DIGITAL PLATFORM.

APPLICATION: program developed for mobile devices specifically to access the features of the event organized by MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM.

PARTNER: is the service provider contracted by MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM, to facilitate the holding of the EVENT organized by MI.EXPO FEIRAS E CONGRESSOS LTDA.

EXHIBITORS: entities, which may be, but are not limited to: private companies, associations, foundations, institutions, which participate in the EVENT organized by MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM, and which exhibit in stands, physical or virtual through the APPLICATION, their services, products and activities to USERS who register for the EVENT.

SPONSORS: entities, which may be, but are not limited to: private companies, associations, foundations, institutions, which, when acquiring sponsorship quotas for the EVENT organized by MI.EXPO FEIRAS+FÓRUM, also acquire the right to exhibit their services and activities, including subsidizing, in whole or in part, courses for USERS who register for the EVENT, in virtual or in-person format and who choose to access the specific content provided.

COOKIES: small text files stored in browsers. This feature makes it possible to identify USERS and directing documents according to pre-established parameters.
LINK: means electronic access, whether through images or words, that allows connection to other screens on the same website, or even other websites.

SPAM: these are emails sent to a group of USERS without their permission.

CONTENT: includes text, programs, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, images, music, videos, audiovisual combinations, animations, interactive resources and other materials that USERS have access to on the MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM website, in the APPLICATION, on the DIGITAL PLATFORM and in the SPONSORED ROOM.

TERMS OF USE: is the Terms and Conditions of Use of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM, which is the contract that will guide the relationship between USERS, EXHIBITORS/SPONSORS and MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM.

PRIVACY POLICY: document made available to USERS, through which they are informed about the purpose of using their personal data, in addition to guiding them on how to access, correct, update, manage and delete their personal data. Reading and accepting the Privacy Policy is an essential requirement for using the services of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM and participating in the EVENT organized by MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1. USERS must carefully read the terms below before accessing or using the miexpo.com.br WEBSITE, the APPLICATION and the DIGITAL PLATFORM, as accessing or using them implies full agreement to all the conditions of these TERMS OF USE.

2.2. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM and other participants will only provide USERS with information and services upon express agreement to the TERMS OF USE, conditions and information contained herein, as well as to the contents of the PRIVACY POLICY. The use of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM and participation in the chosen SPONSORED ROOM signifies full agreement with all the terms, conditions and information provided herein.

2.3. Therefore, MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM does not assume any responsibility:
(I) That arises from relationships eventually established between USERS, EXHIBITORS and potential SPONSORS, whether direct or indirect;
(II) Through negotiations carried out between USERS and EXHIBITORS and/or SPONSORS;
(III) For the delivery of any products and services that are the responsibility of EXHIBITORS and/or SPONSORS;
(IV) For the quantity and quality of the products advertised by the PARTNER on the WEBSITE, on the APPLICATION and on the DIGITAL PLATFORM, with the PARTNER having full and exclusive responsibility;

2.4. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM will make its best efforts to keep the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM always updated, complete and accurate.

2.5. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM will make its best efforts to correct any operating errors in the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM, communicating, through the respective channel, their unavailability and expected return after the necessary and essential corrections and/or maintenance.

2.6. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM is not responsible for any damage, loss or harm suffered by USERS due to failures in the internet, in the system or in the server used by USERS, resulting from the conduct of third parties, unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM will also not be responsible for any virus that may attack USERS' equipment as a result of accessing, using or browsing the internet or as a result of transferring data, files, images, texts, videos or audio.

2.7. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM is not responsible for damages, of any nature, that may arise to third parties as a result of USER conduct that is inappropriate, offensive, or in any way contrary to current legislation.

2.8. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM is not responsible for any losses, of any kind, that may arise from USERS' decisions based on the opinions and recommendations contained in content displayed by the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM.

2.9. Access to the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM depends on the simultaneous functioning of several factors, some of which are beyond the control of MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM. Therefore, MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM is exempt from any liability for failures resulting from any impossibility of accessing the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM due to reasons beyond its control and diligence.

2.10. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM does not guarantee, under any circumstances, that the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM are free from possible failures, interruptions, viruses, problems and other factors, and is also not responsible for the quality and security of the network used by USERS to access the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM, since this is maintained by third parties and, therefore, is beyond its control, diligence and responsibility.

2.11. The use by USERS of outdated tools and technology, not considered safe, will be at the USERS' own risk, and MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM is exempt from any liability for damages, of any nature, suffered by USERS.

2.12. The information, data and characteristics provided about the EVENT, as well as photographs or videos related to the EVENT – including commercial names, brands, distinctive symbols of any class – are displayed for guidance and illustration purposes only.

2.13. The SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM contain links to other websites operated by third parties other than MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM and/or its affiliates. These links are provided solely for USERS' reference, which is why MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM has no control over these other websites and is not responsible for their content. The inclusion of these links on the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM does not imply approval of the material or any association with their owners. If USERS access or use these websites, their information, materials, products and/or services, they will be doing so at their own risk. When using these other SITE(S), USERS will be subject to the policies of said SITE, with which MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM has no relationship.

3. REGISTRATION ON THE WEBSITE, APPLICATION, DIGITAL PLATFORM AND ACCESS TO THE SPONSORED ROOM

3.1. In order to register for the EVENT organized by MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM through the SITE miexpo.com.br, USERS must register by providing the following information: name, address, CPF, date of birth, email and contact telephone numbers, in addition to professional information, namely: company, CNPJ, economic activity and position held.

3.2 USERS, if interested in accessing the DIGITAL PLATFORM, must register on the website miexpo.com.br/digital, by providing the following data: CNPJ of the legal entity, CPF and name of the individual who is accessing.

3.3 When registering on the SITE, USERS will be able to access the EVENT application, and for the APPLICATION, optionally and in order to improve their interaction experience and enrich their CV, USERS will be able to enter the following data: areas of interest and descriptive of your biography.

3.3.1 USERS will be able to access the website or virtual stand of the EXHIBITORS listed in the EVENT's mobile application, but are now aware of the provisions of item 2.13 of this document.

3.3.2 Once registered, USERS may, if they are interested, acquire access to the contents of the SPONSORED ROOM, with USERS being warned in advance that this is a SPONSORED EVENT, since the consequence of access will be the sharing of the USER's personal data with the respective SPONSOR, under the terms set out in the Privacy Policy, of which USERS hereby declare awareness and acceptance.

3.4 When registering, or at the time of registration for the EVENT and/or to access the APPLICATION and/or the PLATFORM /or when accessing the SPONSORED ROOM, USERS will be granting their consent freely, unequivocally and expressly, for MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM to use their data in accordance with the PRIVACY POLICY.

3.5. To register and create an account on the SITE miexpo.com.br, access the APPLICATION and/or the DIGITAL PLATFORM, USERS must be legally capable and at least 18 years old. In the event of registration of USERS who are absolutely or relatively incapable, with or without permission from their parents, guardians or legal representatives, they will be responsible for all acts performed by the incapable, in accordance with the law.

3.6. USERS may only provide correct, up-to-date and true information, being fully responsible for its veracity and authenticity. USERS also undertake to keep their information up to date.

3.7. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM reserves the right to use all valid and possible means to identify USERS, as well as to request additional data and documents that it deems pertinent in order to verify the personal data provided, as long as it is for the fulfillment of contractual purposes and purposes.

3.7. USERS shall be solely and exclusively responsible for their account to access the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM, as well as for the operations carried out, since access to the account is only possible through the use of an access credential, which is created by the USERS themselves and which must be known and owned exclusively by the USERS. Therefore, USERS hereby assume full responsibility for the safekeeping of this access credential, as well as for the improper use of their registration, whether on the SITE, APPLICATION or DIGITAL PLATFORM by third parties. USERS undertake to notify MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM immediately, and by secure means, if they become aware of any unauthorized use or access of their account by third parties.

3.8. The sale, rental, assignment, or any other form of transfer of the account on the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM will not be permitted. The maintenance of more than one registration by the same person will also not be permitted, or the creation of new registrations by people whose original registrations have been temporarily or definitively suspended due to violations of the policies set out in the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM, including the Privacy Policy.

4. COMMUNICATION

4.1. By creating your account, whether on the SITE, APPLICATION or DIGITAL PLATFORM, and by accepting these TERMS OF USE and the PRIVACY POLICY, USERS also authorize MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM to use, in addition to the tools on the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM itself, their telephone number (by sending SMS) and email address as a means of communication to send notices, such as EVENT content, badge, payment confirmation and other information necessary and useful to USERS.

4.1.1 It is important to highlight that USERS, upon registration, will receive “newsletters” with content related to the EVENT, but they will always have the possibility of expressing their interest in no longer receiving such communications, by clicking on a specific section of the message sent, under the terms set out in the PRIVACY POLICY. (opt out).

5. USER OBLIGATIONS

5.1. USERS are obliged to access the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM in the manner provided for in these TERMS OF USE and other policies set out on the SITE, including the Privacy Policy. Therefore, USERS are prohibited from:
(II) Insert any illegal content or in any way contrary to morals and good customs or that violates the rights of third parties, such as, but not limited to, pornographic or defamatory content;
(II) Violate any applicable rule or law;
(III) Insert any CONTENT that incorporates viruses or other physical or electronic elements that may cause damage or prevent the normal functioning of the network, system or computer equipment, the SITE or third parties, the APPLICATION or the DIGITAL PLATFORM, or that causes , due to its characteristics, difficulties in the normal functioning of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM.

5.2. USERS also undertake, when using the services of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM, not to commit acts that have the purpose of:
(I) interrupt service, servers, or computer network through any unlawful method;
(II) spy on and/or monitor third parties;
(III) obtain unauthorized access to another computer, server or network;
(IV) circumvent any authentication or security system;
(v) access confidential information of any nature, such as usernames or passwords of other USERS of the SITE, APPLICATION or DIGITAL PLATFORM that are vulnerable; It is
(VI) access financial information, or that could cause harm to any person, such as, for example, credit card numbers, bank accounts, among others.

5.3. USERS undertake to use the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM and its content, that is, texts, photographs, graphics, images, icons, technology, software, links and other audiovisual or sound content, as well as graphic designs and source codes made available in accordance with the entire legal system, good customs, this document, the Privacy Policy and other rules existing on the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM.

5.4. If USERS do not comply with the provisions of these TERMS OF USE and the PRIVACY POLICY, MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM reserves the right to temporarily suspend, block or delete the USERS' account, without prior notice, without prejudice to other measures that it deems appropriate and necessary, such as communication to the competent authorities.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

6.1. All content on the SITE and DIGITAL PLATFORM, including the content of the SPONSORED ROOM, is the sole and exclusive property of MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM, which includes, without limitation, images, videos, sounds, graphics, texts, photos, trademarks, patents and other content. Improper use and/or partial or total reproduction of the content is prohibited.

6.2. Any acts or contributions aimed at decompilation, reverse engineering, modification of characteristics, expansion, alteration, merging or incorporation into any other programs or systems of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM are prohibited. Any and all forms of reproduction of the SITE, APPLICATION, DIGITAL PLATFORM and contents of the SPONSORED ROOM, total or partial, permanent, temporary or provisional, free of charge or onerous, under any modalities, forms or titles is expressly prohibited.

6.3. USERS are aware that any violation of the intellectual property of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM, as set out in items 6.1 and 6.2 above, constitutes a serious breach of these TERMS OF USE, and MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM may, at its sole discretion, suspend, block or delete the USERS' account, without prejudice to the USERS' obligation to indemnify MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM and third parties for any losses and damages suffered.

7. PURCHASES, CONDITIONS, PAYMENT METHOD AND DELIVERY OF CREDENTIAL (BADGE)

7.1 USERS undertake and have the option to pay for the event registration from the moment they complete the order, under the terms and conditions selected when placing the order.

7.2. USERS must pay the amount corresponding to their registration for the EVENT using the payment methods available on the SITE.

7.3. Once registration has been formalized, that is, with acceptance of the conditions of these TERMS OF USE, the PRIVACY POLICY and confirmation of the purchase process, MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM will send an email to USERS confirming the details of the registration made, as well as the credentials to enter the EVENT purchased. After the order is finalized, USERS will not be able to change the payment method.

7.4. The accepted forms of payment are: bank slip (in cash) and credit card (in this case, it is possible to pay in installments, just check the conditions in force at the time of purchase).

7.4.1. For payments by credit card, the order(s) will be subject to approval by the credit card administrator chosen by the USERS. The information contained in the registration is subject to confirmation, which may be requested by MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM, by email.

7.4.2. For purchases paid by bank slip, the release period is considered from confirmation of payment by the financial institution. Confirmation can be carried out within 3 (three) business days from payment, this period is estimated and may vary.

7.5. USERS may cancel their registration in accordance with the conditions set out in the specific EVENT Regulations.

7.6. The refund period, when authorized by MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM, under the terms set forth in the specific regulations of the EVENT, depends on the card administrator and may take up to 40 (forty) days, with MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM having no interference and/or responsibility within this period.

8. USER SERVICE CHANNEL

8.1. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM provides the following customer service channels to USERS so that they can resolve any queries, resolve any requests or complaints regarding their order or any content made available on the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM by telephone, sending an email or using the contact form on the SITE and DIGITAL PLATFORM.

9. SECURITY PROCEDURES

9.1. The personal data collected is stored on a secure server, using global security standards. The secure server establishes a connection so that the information transmitted is encrypted.

9.2. For maximum USER security, if there is any discrepancy in registration information, MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM and/or its PARTNERS may contact you to confirm the data before approving the registration.

9.3. If USERS do not provide all the data required to register for the EVENT, leaving the request incomplete, MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM reserves the right to automatically cancel the incomplete registration.

9.4. This procedure is carried out for the security of USERS of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM and, therefore, by accepting these TERMS OF USE, USERS agree to submit to the procedure for detecting possible fraudulent operations, previously mentioned, and, in the same way, authorize MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM so that, once the information and additional documents referred to above have been provided, these may be used for future checks in the interactions that USERS carry out on the SITE, APPLICATION or DIGITAL PLATFORM.

10. GENERAL PROVISIONS

10.1. The information, content, values, services, systems and/or software published on the EVENT's SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM may contain inaccuracies and/or spelling errors, which is why MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM will make its best efforts to keep them updated periodically.

10.2. The Privacy Policy of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM is applicable to USERS when they access the SITE and can be found at the following link: https://www.miexpo.com.br/politica-privacidade/

10.3. MI.EXPO FEIRA+FÓRUM may change, modify and/or adjust these TERMS OF USE at any time, without prior notice to USERS, and such changes, modifications and/or adjustments will take effect from the moment USERS are informed via the SITE or via email. Therefore, USERS are obliged to review these TERMS OF USE periodically, and it is clear that USERS are subject to the acceptance of the TERMS OF USE in force at the time of each access to the SITE, APPLICATION or DIGITAL PLATFORM. If USERS do not agree with the changes to the TERMS OF USE, they must cancel their account and cease any and all use of the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM. The fact that USERS continue to access or use the SITE, APPLICATION and DIGITAL PLATFORM after the modification of the TERMS OF USE represents their consent to be bound by the modified Terms.
The forum of the District of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, is elected as competent to resolve any disputes arising from these TERMS OF USE, regardless of any other, however privileged it may be or may become.
