Formado em Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia pela Universidade de São Paulo, onde também concluiu seu mestrado e doutorado, consolidando sua formação acadêmica.

Ronaldo já atuou como professor em cinco universidades em São Paulo e foi presidente da Sociedade Brasileira de Dermatologia Veterinária (SBDV), demonstrando seu amplo conhecimento e reconhecimento na área. Ele é um dos poucos no Brasil diplomados pela SBDV como especialista em dermatologia veterinária.
